Still working with Chewy on roll up in a blanket. Getting close to a solid roll over.
I'm having trouble getting him to hold the towel without swatting it with his front paw (that's from a trick we did way back...pick up something with your mouth, then hug it).
Despite the chaos, I have confidence that he is going to get it! Stay tuned....
I told Oreo's behaviorist about his latest roll up in a blanket trick, and she said, "Maybe you could teach him to carry the blanket over his head when you go places, that way he'll think no one can see him." She wasn't really joking! I think she's realized that I'm more apt to work on fun tricks with him, rather than boring behavior modification stuff. Poor dog.
Chewy is just a bundle of energy isn't it! I think he will get it in the next couple of attempts. He is so close! And I think Oreo has made great strides in not being so afraid in places outside home...though of course I don't know about all his trips. Kudos to you Mom!

Chewy with his boundless energy turns everything into fun. I think he enjoyed rolling himself into the blanket. He may start doing it on his own just for fun. Aloha.

LOl, I know the feeling. I hate working on self control stuff with Java, like not chasing joggers or bikes.
