ice island

After two 60 degree days in a row, almost all our snow is gone.

Except this island in the middle of our yard!

But, we've figured out ways to play ball around it.

Now if only those Christmas decorations weren't frozen in the planters.  They are driving me crazy.  It'll be Easter before I can pull them out.

LOL. I hope you have more warm weather to melt the island.

Your backyard must get sun in the summertime (when you wish for shade) and no sun in the winter (when you need it to melt snow and ice)! Our's is like that except you had so much more snow! Hope the good weather continues so that Oreo can have his entire yard back!

BOL! I hope that island goes away soon!
We tried to learn copcop a while back but we gave up. Too many in progress tricks! You look very cute doing it!

You have a pretty yard! We are already wearing shorts and restricting activities to morning and night - it is getting to warm in the middle of the day to do much.

I think Oreo had made a wish that he could have some of his snow reserved!

You've a pretty yard. What a beautiful place for Oreo to play with his ball.

Aren't you so glad it's spring? I'm just thrilled as I can be. If I had your yard I would be even more thrilled, it's just gorgeous-all those tree's! Oreo looks very happy.:)

It adds a splash of color in an otherwise brown winter landscrape. So glad Oreo is able to get out and play

Ha ha! I'd be tempted to take a hair dryer out to those decorations, but I'm weird like that! I hope your snow disappears soon!

Wow, I miss seeing pictures of your yard without the snow - it's beautiful! (Not that it's not beautiful WITH snow, but you know what I mean.) Just hope you keep getting sun to clear away the snow, and no rain, or it'll all turn into a mud pool. :)

Don't feel bad. We still have a giant wreath on the front of the house complete with red bow...and it's not frozen there.
